Overview:
This is an ideal program for any teacher who wants to introduce their students to life in the Peruvian
Andes through creative learning endeavors that bring to life the culture, the language and the history
of this fascinating region. The program takes place primarily in the Department of Cusco in southern
Peru – from the city of Cusco, heart of the Incan Empire, through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, to
the mystical “Lost City” of Machu Picchu. Although the activities contained in this Cultural Adventure
Program can vary depending on your interest and goals, we have outlined, below, some of the highlights
which make this a truly creative learning experience.
