"Moriah had made the monastery her home and the monks and her Lama her family. It was so beautiful to see her with her students, which were monks ages 7 to 27. They adored her and she them. When it was time to leave, they held a goodbye ceremony for her. Her Lama draped a scarf over her, then one at a time each of her 57 monks did the same. It was a beautiful, moving experience; I was in tears just witnessing this. But by the end you could barely see her face, she was laiden with scarfs."
